Laila Ali: Of course Ronda Rousey couldn't beat me

It seems pretty clear that Ali has respect for Rousey and understands that what she does in MMA is different from what she herself did in boxing. That said, let's make one thing clear -- all fighters believe that, on any given day, they could beat anyone in the world.
That's a big part of what separates fighters from everyone else. So, if pressed, it makes sense that Ali wouldn't concede anything to Rousey.
All that said, we do wonder how well a top athlete like Ali could have done in MMA, if she'd spent a couple of decades there instead of boxing.
@BoDawgAllDay @RondaRousey is doing her thing in MMA/UFC. I like seeing females dominate! All the best to her.

@ramrodkey14 @blogMMA I'm retired. Not interested in fighting her. I was simple saying, with humor, she's in a different weight class.
