Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier had to be separated on 'Good Morning America' set

If there was any question whether or not the rivalry between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier was real, the two light heavyweights had to be separated during a photo shoot on "Good Morning America" this week.

The footage comes courtesy of the latest episode of "UFC Embedded" as Cormier and Jones are standing just a few feet away from each other on the popular morning show when the trash talk begins.

"That will be my easiest fight," Cormier said to Jones as the UFC PR department tries to get everybody in line for a photo opportunity. "After what I saw last weekend, it's going to be light work."

Things only get more uncomfortable from there -- with Paige VanZant, Frankie Edgar, Chuck Liddell, Miesha Tate and Bruce Buffer standing between them, Jones and Cormier continue to chirp at each other.

"Shut the (expletive) up," Jones said.

"I can't stand you," Cormier fires back.

At that point it looked like Jones and Cormier could forget the suits and ties and the fact that they were about to go on national television and just start throwing down in the middle of the set.

"Bum," Cormier continuously chanted with Jones a few feet away.

"I made you cry," Jones fired back. "You cried!"

Eventually, Jones and Cormier had to be separated and pulled out of the shoot because it was clear they weren't going to get along well enough for anyone to take a photo.

The two fighters then continued their war of words at the UFC 200 press conference a few hours later at Madison Square Garden.

If this footage is any indication, Jones vs. Cormier 2 at UFC 200 in July is going to be one of the most heated fights of all time.
