Johnson to Diaz: You can't bring your boys in that cage with you

The tension that erupted earlier this week into a scuffle in Orlando between lightweight contenders Nate Diaz and Michael Johnson continued Friday at weigh-ins for Saturday's UFC Fight Night. The two made weight and then faced off with one another.

Though there was contact made and some push-back from Johnson, everyone kept their cool and things didn't boil over. But while things were relatively calm during the staredown, Johnson took to ProCast to explain that things between him and Diaz still aren’t cool.

“I walked by him and he was with one guy -- he didn’t say anything, he didn’t run his mouth. I come back out and he’s with six other people.” Johnson said, reflecting on his previous run-in with Diaz.

“He just starts running his mouth, asking what I’m looking at . . . of course, I tell him, 'I’m looking at you, what are you gonna do about it?' ”

After that, the pair engaged in a shoving match before being separated by UFC officials.

Johnson doesn’t seem too worried about it, however, since both guys will get a chance to punch each other Saturday night at UFC Fight Night: dos Anjos vs. Cerrone 2.
