Gray Maynard switches training camps, hopes to fight in July

Former lightweight title contender Gray Maynard is ready to get back in action after an extended layoff while starting to work with a new team.
Maynard has gone 1-3 in his last four fights with the three losses all ending by knockout or TKO, which put the former Ultimate Fighter competitor in an uneasy place about where to go next.
Some time off gave him perspective and now Maynard has moved his training camps from American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) to Power MMA & Fitness in Arizona. Maynard is now working full time with fighters such as Ryan Bader and C.B. Dollaway as well as coach Aaron Simpson.
According to a report via UFC Tonight, Maynard had no issues with the team at AKA, but training so close to home was getting too hectic and he needed a change of scenery.
Enter the team at Power MMA & Fitness, who are managed by the same team as Maynard at the Martin Advisory Group.
Maynard has recharged his batteries after some time off and now he wants to return in July for one of the upcoming UFC fight cards.
The former Michigan State wrestler isn't concerned about who he faces as much as when he wants to fight because he's now itching to get back in the Octagon and wash the bad taste of two straight losses out of his mouth.
