Gegard Mousasi wants to fight Daniel Cormier at UFC 200

With Jon Jones out of UFC 200 for a potential violation of the UFC's anti-doping policy, Daniel Cormier awaits word if he'll still be fighting on Saturday night or not.
If Gegard Mousasi gets his way, he'll be the person facing Cormier at UFC 200.
The former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion has offered to face Cormier in a bout at 205 pounds and would even be willing to fight five rounds on two days notice if the UFC wanted to afford him the possibility.
According to Mousasi's manager Nima Safapour when speaking to FOX Sports on late Wednesday night, the veteran competitor immediately jumped at the chance to face Cormier
"He is the guy to save the show," Safapour wrote in a text message.

Mousasi is already scheduled to compete at UFC 200 against Thiago Santos in a middleweight bout so clearly he's been training and prepared for a fight this weekend.
Considering he's also a former champion at 205 pounds, Mousasi might be an intriguing opponent if the UFC is serious about replacing Jones to allow Cormier to compete on Saturday night.
Cormier has stated that he'd be willing to fight as long as the UFC believes it makes sense for him to face a new opponent.
As of now, no decision has been made regarding Cormier's status on the card, but if he needs a willing opponent, Mousasi has thrown his name in the ring as a potential replacement.
