Lim stalking Magny, early. The Korean looks huge compared to Magny.
A right hand lands for Lin, which hurts the American. Lin follows up with a flying knee and more punches.
Magny is stumbling all over the cage as Lim throws wide punches. Magny grabs a hold of Lim, turns him and presses him against the cage.
Lim has received two warnings for grabbing the fence. Wonder how many he'll get before a point is deducted. And . . . the fight is cut off abruptly for no reason and we go to a commercial . . . twice.
More action missed because of commercials. The fight stream resumes and Magny has Lim's back for a moment.
The Korean reverses and gets into the full guard of Magny. From there, Magny shoots a triangle choke that he uses to get a sweep.
Lim is on the bottom, now, but locks in an arm bar from his full guard. Magny passes, gets full mount and then the back with both hooks in with under a minute left!
Lim makes it back up to his feet! Magny shoots in but gets sprawled on by Lim, who then stands up and takes his back.
Magny gets free and storms Lim with hard punches to the chin to end the round!
Round 2
Magny ducks under and slams Lim to the ground from a body lock. From there, he goes right into the mount!
Lim turns his back and gives that up. Back to mount, where Lim eats shots, and then straight return to the back.
Magny flattens out Lim's hips and lands a ton of left punches to the head to earn the finish and his seventh straight win!
Official Decision: Magny wins by TKO at 1:24 of the second round.
Phillipe Nover (6-3-1) vs. Yui Chul Nam (18-4-1)
Round 1
Nover ducks under, changes levels and scores a take down on Nam within seconds. Nam works to stand up, against the cage.
Nam does indeed get up, but Nover slams him back down. Nam continues to uses his left arm to attempt to hit a switch, and at least block Nover's pass attempt.
Nam stands but Nover gets his back. Nover works back to the front and begins to look for a double leg take down, which he gets in a big way - with a slam.
Nam bounces back up to his feet, however, though Nover stays stuck on him, pressing against the fence. Nover begins to fire off punches to the head while Nam is hunched over, touching three points or more to make knee attacks to his head illegal.
Nover turns in and takes Nam down again. The American is inside the open full guard of Nam, as the Korean fighter posts on his left elbow in an attempt to stand back up.
Nam does stand but eats more punches to the head.
Round 2
Nover shoots in once again, right away, and scores with another double-leg takedown. Nam stands in the center of the mat and gets lifted up and dropped back down.
Nover tries to take the back of the standing Nam but doesn't get his hooks in, is high up on the back and slips off. Nam pursues him on the back and Nover threatens with submissions off of his back.
Nam connects with a big hammerfist strike on the turtled-up Nover, and follows up with good knees to the head once they stand.
Nover lands a body kick and then shoots in again. Nam defends it but gets pressed up against the cage. It is from there that Nover gets another takedown.
Nam gets back to his feet and presses Nover against the cage. Nover works weakly for an inside leg trip but gets stuffed by Nam, who is able to get his own takedown with under a minute left.
Nover shoots up a triangle choke attempt that is defended and Nam moves to half guard, firing punches to the head.
Round 3
Nam times a takedown and scores it. Nover stands right back up, however.
Nam continues to press Nover against the cage with a minute gone by in the final round. Nam gets a trip to score his second take down in the round.
Nover works for a guillotine choke but Nam defends and stays on top. In fact, Nam works to the full mount, against the cage, on Nover.
Nover creates space to reguard but eats some big punches. Nam now working to lock up an arm-triangle choke from inside the half guard of Nover. More importantly, however, the fence is to Nam's left side, making it difficult to pass and go to the side of Nover to finish the choke.
Nam passes over but Nover uses a left butterfly hook to give himself breathing room. Nam lands some big punches to end the fight.
Official Decision: Nover wins split decision with scores of 29-28 (twice) and 28-29.
Mark Eddiva (6-1) vs. Levan Makashvili (9-1)
Levan connects first, with an overhand right to the head. Levan lands another jab, to the face.
Mark shoots in but gets stuffed by Levan. They stand, and Mark attempts a hip toss but gets blocked, once more.
Levan scoops Mark up and slams him against the mat. Mark is able to stand right up, however, but is pressed against the cage with an over-under clinch.
The referee steps in and separates the two fighters. They exchange furious punch and kick attempts in the center of the cage, with most strikes missing.
Mark shoots in again but is stuffed and soon tripped down to the ground, himself. With a little over 30 seconds left in the fight, Mark works out of his half guard, against the cage.
Mark uses an underhook to help himself get to his knees, and then to his feet, at the close of the fight.
Round 2
Levan lunges in with a left uppercut that glances off of Mark. Mark continues to throw kicks that Levan is able to step away from.
The two clinch up again but this time Mark is able to separate and get free. Levan shoots in, gets a takedown despite a blatant fence-grab from the Filipino fighter.
Levan works with body punches from inside the open full-guard of Mark. The referee stands them up, continuing the particularly bad bias against ground fighting and grappling in all its forms by referees this card.
Because it is inevitable, despite the attempts to orchestrate action by the referee, both men are back in the clinch almost immediately. Mark breaks free and ducks under some big, looping punches.
Round 3
Mark lands a leg kick to the lead leg of Levan, who nearly catches it. Levan goes for a double-leg take down after Mark storms in with a punch combo but gets stuffed.
Still, the wrestler continues to press Mark against the cage, then switching to a single leg attempt, just as his corner instructed him to do in between rounds. Mark gets up to his feet, but is still defending, against the fence.
Levan gets another takedown but the home town fighter gets back up to his feet, only to be dragged down once more. This time, the European sticks the position and ends up in side mount.
Mark turns to his stomach, Levan grabs a front head lock but the Filipino striker gets out and up to his feet.
Levan closes the distance again, presses Mark against the cage, then scores a double leg take down into side control. Under a minute left for Levan in his UFC debut.
Mark turns over again in an attempt to get up once more. This time Levan uses a head and arm control from the front to control Mark before transitioning to the back.
Still, Mark gets up with seconds left in the fight and fires off a one-two combo that misses before the final horn.
Official Decision: Levan wins a split decision with scores of 30-27, 29-28, and 28-29.
Li Jingliang (9-3) vs. Dhiego Lima (11-3)
Round 1
The two welterweights feel things out for a bit but it's Li pressuring, early, and striking first. Li lands a big, left hand, followed by a right punch that drop Lima as he backs up against the cage.
Without wasting another moment, Jingliang follows the Brazilian to the mat and finishes the job with nasty strikes, prompting the referee to stop the fight.
Official Decision: Li wins by TKO at 1:25
