Following a knockout win over Travis Browne in February, Derrick Lewis is set to return to action against Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night from New Zealand on June 10.

Lewis announced the fight via Twitter on Monday following an initial report from MMAJunkie.com.

Lewis actually asked for a fight with Hunt after his win over Browne, which marked his sixth victory in a row with five of those ending by knockout or TKO.

Hunt will return following a disappointing outing in his last fight when he suffered a brutal knockout courtesy of Alistair Overeem at UFC 209 in early March.

Hunt has gone 2-3 with one no contest over his past six fights but he will look to get back on track when facing Lewis on home soil when they face off in June.

Lewis vs. Hunt is expected to headline the UFC card from New Zealand with middleweights Derek Brunson and Dan Kelly also expected to face off on the June 10 event.
