Cub Swanson vs. Max Holloway 'signed and done' for FOX card in New Jersey

Max Holloway put on a dominant performance over Cole Miller in the co-main event at UFC Fight Night from Colorado on Saturday night, but he had the chance to celebrate for only mere seconds before he already had his next fight lined up.
Plans were already in place if Holloway won that he would take on Cub Swanson in a new featherweight featured bout on the upcoming FOX UFC Fight Night card from New Jersey on April 18.
According to Holloway, the fight is as good as official because he's feeling healthy and ready to go again in April against Swanson.
"It's signed and done," Holloway said at the post-fight news conference. "Like this guy said, when UFC gives you a fight, you say yes. And even if in your mind you're thinking no, you say yes because if you say no you're going to be away for a long time. It's an opportunity.
"Cub's a top-five fighter and he's a striker, I'm a striker; it should be a fun one to watch. You'll see a bunch of cool spinning stuff."
Holloway has been on a tear of late, winning four fights in a row, including three by knockout or TKO. While he didn't quite get the finish against Miller on Saturday night, Holloway punished the American Top Team fighter throughout the course of the three-round bout en route to victory.
Now Holloway has a chance to crack the top half of the featherweight division against Swanson, who's gone 6-1 in his past seven fights while rocketing up to the top five of the weight class.
"I'm excited, I can't wait," Holloway said about the matchup. "I look up to Cub in a lot of ways. His ninja style versus my ninja style should be a great ninja fight. I can't wait for April 18."
