Cormier: “I’m happy about this fight”

Daniel Cormier can do it.
Not only did the former Olympic wrestler look sleek and skilled pushing his record to 13-0 with a decision win over Roy Nelson, but he was also in the corner of his teammate and friend Cain Velasquez as he defended the UFC heavyweight title in the UFC 166 main event. As if that wasn’t enough, “DC” also hit the broadcast booth, joining the UFC on FOX crew to break down the highlights of his win.
Stepping into the cage at a trim 224 pounds, Cormier showed off superior hands speed and his tremendous wrestling pedigree, clipping the notoriously granite-chinned Nelson with several powerful shots and controlling the burly brawler with his grappling throughout.
See what the charismatic, undefeated fighter had to say about his performance, and be sure to stay tuned to FoxSports.com for more post-fight coverage from UFC 166.
