Conor McGregor says it is 'business as usual' for him at UFC 189

Conor McGregor is waiting, along with the rest of the world, to hear whether or not injured featherweight champ Jose Aldo will be able to fight at UFC 189 as planned, next month. The Irishman took to Twitter Wednesday to let fans know that, whatever Aldo's immediate fate, it won't affect his own readiness to fight July 11.
What's more, he channeled his inner Jean Claude Van Damme.
McGregor has already invested a lot of time into his Las Vegas training camp, since moving his training from his home of Dublin to the fight world capital to prepare. Aldo has a doctor's appointment Wednesday to try and help determine if he should continue with the fight as scheduled, despite reportedly injuring his rib on Tuesday.
Behind the scenes, many players are scrambling to be ready to replace the champion if need be. After all, it looks like McGregor is set on fighting this summer, one way or another.
We'll keep you posted on all that, so stay tuned for more information.
Just know that it is business as usual up here at the top. See you all on July 11th. pic.twitter.com/WXGPRFWj0y
