Former bantamweight contender Brad Pickett will make his flyweight debut against one of the best in the division when he faces Ian McCall at the UFC Fight Night event on March 8 from London.

Pickett (23-8) has been planning a move to flyweight for a short period of time, but now he's ready to make the move after going 3-3 during his time with the UFC while fighting at 135 pounds.

Over the years, Pickett has become one of UFC president Dana White's favorite fighters to watch and now he'll get new life as he enters the flyweight division in March.

Hoping to spoil Pickett's debut will be Ian McCall (12-4-1), who looks to pick up his second win in a row after defeating Illiarde Santos in August at UFC 163. McCall was originally scheduled to appear at this weekend's UFC on FOX 9 card against Scott Jorgensen, but an injury forced him out of the bout.

Now McCall will return in March where he travels to England to fight in Pickett's backyard on the upcoming show headlined by light heavyweight contender Alexander Gustafsson as he battles undefeated prospect Jimi Manuwa in the main event.
