Alexis Davis vs. Jessica Eye added to UFC 170 in Feb.

UFC 170 has added another top women's fight to go along with the main event pitting Ronda Rousey vs. Sara McMann.
Submission specialist Alexis Davis, fresh off her three-round dominant decision victory over Liz Carmouche, will take on second-time UFC fighter and Ohio native Jessica Eye.
UFC officials confirmed the bout on Monday.
Some would argue that Davis (15-5) could be in line for a title shot already given her 2-0 record in the UFC and four-fight win streak overall. A black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Davis is as tough as they come in the women's division and holds wins over notable names like Amanda Nunes, Julie Kedzie and Shayna Baszler.
A shot at the belt could still be in her future, but to get there she's going to have to go through one of the top prospects at 135 pounds in the UFC.
Jessica "Evil" Eye (11-1) burst onto the UFC scene in her debut fight back in October when she bested former Strikeforce women's champion Sarah Kaufman in a close bout at UFC 166. The win marked her eighth in a row overall, and now Eye will jump right back in the deep end of the division as she looks to put her name into title contention by facing Davis in February.
It's unknown at this time what the final bout order for UFC 170 will be, but given both Davis and Eye's status as top ten fighters it's likely the women will end up on the main card for the pay-per-view.
