NEW YORK (AP) A look at Sunday's play, the final day of the $46.3 million U.S. Open tennis championships:

WEATHER: Mix of sun and clouds with less humidity. High of 82.

ATTENDANCE: 25,051.

RESULTS: Men's Singles Final: Stan Wawrinka won his third Grand Slam title, beating 12-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic 6-7 (1), 6-4, 7-5, 6-3. Wawrinka also won titles at the Australian Open in 2014 and French Open last year. Djokovic lost a major final for the ninth time in 21 matches. Women's Doubles Final: No. 12 Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova won their third Grand Slam title, rallying to beat the top-seeded French team of Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic 2-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4.
