The Latest: Federer finishes comeback, reaches semifinals

After saving three match points in the fourth set, Roger Federer made it through to the semifinals at Wimbledon for the 11th time.

The seven-time champion came back from a two-set deficit to beat Marin Cilic 6-7 (4), 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (9), 6-3 on Centre Court as he continues his run for a record eighth Wimbledon title.

At 34, Federer is the oldest man to reach the semifinals at the All England Club since 39-year-old Ken Rosewall was runner-up in 1974.

Federer will play Milos Raonic in the semifinals on Friday.

Roger Federer has evened his Wimbledon quarterfinal match against Marin Cilic at two sets apiece.

Federer saved three match points and then managed to win the fourth set 7-6 (9) on Centre Court.

Federer won the third set 6-3 after losing the first two 7-6 (4), 6-4.

Milos Raonic is back in the Wimbledon semifinals for the second time in his career.

The sixth-seeded Canadian beat Sam Querrey 6-4, 7-5, 5-7, 6-4 on No. 1 Court.

Raonic, who has added John McEnroe to his coaching team this year, previously reached the semifinals at the All England Club in 2014, losing to Roger Federer in straight sets.

Querrey defeated Novak Djokovic in the third round, becoming the first American to beat a top-ranked player at Wimbledon since Kevin Curren downed McEnroe in the 1985 quarterfinals.

Raonic will play either Federer or Marin Cilic in the semifinals on Friday.

Roger Federer still has a chance against Marin Cilic at Wimbledon.

The seven-time champion won the third set of his quarterfinal match on Centre Court 6-3 after losing the first two to the ninth-seeded Croat.

Cilic, who beat Federer in the 2014 U.S. Open semifinals, won the first two sets 7-6 (4), 6-4.

Roger Federer has dropped the first set of his quarterfinal against Marin Cilic in a tiebreaker.

Cilic saved two break points in the fifth game and took the set 7-6 (4).

In another quarterfinal, Milos Raonic won the first set 6-4 over Sam Querrey.

Seven-time champion Roger Federer is playing Marin Cilic on Centre Court, while Milos Raonic is facing Sam Querrey on No. 1 Court.

Roger Federer has more history on the line at the All England Club.

If Federer beats Marin Cilic in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, he will equal Jimmy Connors' record of reaching the Wimbledon semifinals 11 times.

Federer is chasing a record eighth Wimbledon singles title. He's currently tied with Pete Sampras and 1880s player William Renshaw with seven.

The third-seeded Federer will be first up on Centre Court against Cilic, a Crotian who beat him in straight sets in their last meeting, in the 2014 U.S. Open semifinals.

Second up on Centre will be No. 2 Andy Murray, the 2013 champion, facing No. 12 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

On Court 1, sixth-seeded Milos Raonic was paired against No. 28 Sam Querrey, followed by No. 10 Tomas Berdych against No. 32 Lucas Pouille.
