Nadal is citing a need for further rest and recovery as the reason he will miss the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament.

The Spaniard is coming off of an Australian Open run that pit him against Swiss tennis player Roger Federer in the finals. Despite finishing runner-up to Federer, Nadal played fantastic tennis throughout his time at Melbourne Park.

Dealing with minor injuries throughout his 2016 tour, Nadal bounced back to start the 2017 season. He reasserted himself as one of the top players in men’s singles tennis and should continue to be a top contender throughout the season.

Look for Rafael Nadal to bounce back in the weeks following the ABN AMRO tournament in Rotterdam. He remains a top player in men’s singles tennis and should be someone to watch throughout all of the 2017 ATP World Tour.
