Andy Murray has been upset by Marcos Baghdatis in the first round of the ABN-Amro tournament on Wednesday.

Baghdatis had nine aces to bounce Murray 6-4, 6-1. Murray was playing in his first match since losing the Australian Open final to Novak Djokovic.

Baghdatis fought back from 3-0 down and reeled off four games in a row from 4-2 to take the opening set. He'll face Feliciano Lopez, who beat Florian Mayer 6-3, 6-4.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga rallied from a set down to beat Michael Llodra 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 to reach the quarterfinals.

In a tight match with only one service break in each set, the eighth-seeded Tsonga served nine of his 15 aces in the decisive third set at Rotterdam's Ahoy Stadium.

''Michael is one of the best players on this surface,'' Tsonga said.

In the day's other second-round match, Marin Cilic upset fifth-seeded Jurgen Melzer 6-2, 6-4.
