Rising Serbian teen Bojana Jovanovski overcame Urszula Radwanska of Poland 1-6, 7-5, 6-4 to reach the Malaysian Open quarterfinals on Wednesday.

The eighth-seeded Jovanovski also came from a set down to beat Radwanska in the same second round in Doha last week.

Jovanovski broke into the top 100 last July and by year's end was the youngest person in the top 100. Since turning 19 on New Year's Eve, she has reached her first WTA semifinals in Sydney in January.

Next up will be Jelena Dokic of Australia, who after ousting top-seeded Francesca Schiavone, chased down Kurumi Nara of Japan 3-6, 7-6 (6), 6-2 in 2 hours, 19 minutes.

Sixth-seeded Ayumi Morita of Japan beat Zhang Shuai of China 6-0, 6-4. Morita broke into the top 50 for the first time last week, then dropped out on Monday, but should make it back again with her first quarterfinal of the year, at least.

Morita will play Anne Kremer of Luxembourg, who has reached her first WTA quarterfinals in almost four years. She defeated Thai teen Noppawan Lertcheewakarn 7-6 (4), 6-3.
