If you haven't warmed up to Jerzy Janowicz yet, what are you waiting for?

The rising Polish tennis star is in the Wimbledon semifinals after defeating fellow Pole Lukasz Kubot on Wednesday. And he hasn't gotten to this point without giving us some great moments.

The scene on the court after Wednesday's match was truly memorable, as Janowicz and Kubot embraced and traded shirts:

Afterward, Janowicz posted this on his Twitter page:

According to Google translate, that means, "Lukasz Kubot thank you for the beautiful game."

The sportsmanship between the two may be no surprise since they are countrymen of a nation not known for tennis prowess — they were playing for Poland's first-ever spot in the men's semis at a Slam — but it is a heartwarming sight nonetheless.

What's that? Not into people being nice to each other in sports? Don't worry. Jerzy has a fiery side too:

So Jerzy offers a little something for everyone.

The 22-year-old Janowicz had never been past the third round in a Grand Slam in four previous tries. He will face local favorite and No. 2 seed Andy Murray in Friday's semifinal and is already hoping the Scot folds under the pressure of expectation from the home crowd. Don't miss it.
