Foretz-Gacon, Mladenovic in France's Fed Cup team

France captain Nicolas Escude has called up inexperienced pair Stephanie Foretz-Gacon and Kristina Mladenovic to face Slovenia in the Fed Cup playoffs.

Foretz-Gacon and Mladenovic have only one previous Fed Cup appearance each, and will play alongside veteran Virgine Razzano and Pauline Parmentier in the April 21-22 match on indoor hard courts at Palais des Sports in Besancon.

France must beat Slovenia to stay in the World Group after losing to Slovakia in the first round in February.
