Federer beats Niemin again

Roger Federer extended his perfect record against Jarkko Nieminen to 13-0 as he reached the semifinals of the ABN Amro World Tennis on Friday.
The top-seeded Federer won 7-5, 7-6 (2) for a 13th straight win over Nieminen of Finland in matches stretching back to 2002. The No. 3-ranked Swiss will face the winner of a later match between Nikolay Davydenko and Richard Gasquet.
Third-seeded Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina also reached the semifinals with a 6-0, 6-1 win over seventh-ranked Viktor Troicki of Serbia.
Del Potro will play second-seeded Tomas Berdych, who ousted Italian Viktor Seppi 6-3, 6-4 to book his place in the semis.
