Bolton Arena chosen for Davis Cup tie

Bolton Arena has been chosen for the Davis Cup tie against Tunisia.

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) announced the venue for the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas.

The tie will take place from March 4-6 2011.

Leon Smith, captain of the AEGON GB Davis Cup team: "It's a great choice of venue for us. We've always had fantastic support in the North West, and Bolton Arena will no doubt generate a passionate atmosphere, and provide the ideal stage for the match against Tunisia."

I recently visited Bolton Arena and I was very impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities available at the centre, as well as the enthusiasm and dedication of the staff who work there. It is wonderful news for local residents that we are attracting such prestigious events on our doorstep. I would like to give my personal thanks to the Lawn Tennis Association for their decision to hold the Davis Cup at Bolton Arena."

Tickets for this tie will go on general sale in November. Tickets will be priced at £15 for the Friday and Sunday and £10 for Saturday's action. Kids Go Free across all three days with any full paying adult.

This applies to children aged 16 and under, with one child gaining free entry per each full paying adult.
