If you’re a cheeky bloke looking for a way to commemorate Andy Murray becoming the first British man in 77 years to win Wimbledon, might I suggest getting a tattoo on your buttocks?
That seems to be the trend these days, with at least two Murray supporters making their affection for the affable Scot permanent — and doing so in a spot where, much like Scotland, the sun doesn’t shine.
The first comes to us from Terez Owens, who pointed us in the direction of an anonymous tennis fan with a simple script tattoo honoring Murray’s straight-sets victory over Novak Djokovic:
I know what you’re thinking: “Not bad, but you could do better; if you’re going to tattoo your caboose, you should really do it.”
Fortunately, a challenger did emerge, one-upping the originator of the Murray derriere design.
According to Breakingnews.ie, the backside below belongs to 27-year-old William Hirons of Hereford, England, who bet his friends after Murray's semifinal win over Jerzy Janowicz that he would get the ink if Murray won his final match against Djokovic.
Now that . . . that’s a butt tattoo that’ll be tough to top. Or bottom.
