Ferguson's performance against the Potters was one of the few plus points for the Magpies in their 4-0 defeat at the Britannia Stadium. And Ferguson, 19, says he is ready to give his all to the Newcastle cause as they enter a crucial phase of the season. He told the Newcastle Chronicle: "We'll be training hard from now on in until the Wolves match and hopefully we'll get the win we need. Hopefully I will be involved, and if I get the nod, I'm ready." Ferguson says he wants to get forward as much as possible to support his team-mates. He added: "I know I can do that and it is something in my locker. I will get up and support the midfield all the time. My aim is to get in as many crosses and shots as I can."
