The Football League are satisfied the right decision was made to abandon Wycombe's fixture with Bristol Rovers on August 25.
The match was abandoned after 65 minutes on health and safety grounds due to a waterlogged pitch and will now be replayed, with a new date set to be announced.
Rovers were frustrated by the decision to call the game off as they were 3-1 up when the announcement was made.
A Football League spokesman said: "Having considered the relevant submissions from all parties, The Football League is satisfied that, in very difficult circumstances, the match referee took the appropriate action by initially suspending and then abandoning the match following advice from the safety officer."
