The 28-year-old's future was the subject of conjecture over the summer amid reports of contract talks stalling at Eastlands. Wright-Phillips, who is in his second spell at City, has two years left on his current deal and he has invited the club to secure his long-term future. "I would like to stay for the long term but obviously nothing's been sorted out yet," Wright-Phillips told The Sun. "That hasn't stopped me from working hard and being happy, though. "If they want me, I'm here to stay. If not, I'm concentrating on what I have to do for the club now."
