Wolves striker Kevin Doyle has been declared fit for the game. The Republic of Ireland international suffered a painful blow to the hips during the 1-1 derby draw with West Brom but has now resumed training and will lead the attack against the Tangerines. Midfielder Stephen Hunt is still sidelined with a calf injury but Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has no fresh injury worries for what he has described as a "must-win" game. Blackpool captain Charlie Adam starts a two-match suspension after picking up his 10th yellow card of the season in the 3-1 win over Tottenham on Tuesday. In the meantime, the Scotland midfielder is seeing a specialist about a problem which is believed to be abdominal. Striker Luke Varney should be involved again having been rested for the Spurs game, but Elliot Grandin and Gary Taylor-Fletcher (both hamstring) remain sidelined. Stephen Crainey has returned to training following his ankle injury, although it is too soon for a first-team return.
