Wolfsburg midfielder De Bruyne accused of swearing at ballboy
Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne is being investigated by the German Football Association over reports he swore at a ballboy during a Bundesliga match.
German daily Bild claim the 23-year-old Belgium international snapped at a ballboy, shouting an expletive at him in order to get the ball back quickly.
The incident occurred late during Wolfsburg's 1-1 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday, before De Bruyne scored the equalising goal with two minutes remaining.
Former Chelsea midfielder De Bruyne's rant was audible on television and when a Bild reporter confronted him, he said he will give the youngster, who plays for Frankfurt's U16 team, a signed playing shirt.
The DFB has asked Wolfsburg to submit comments over the incident as part of its investigation.
De Bruyne is in the middle of a fine Bundesliga season for Wolfsburg having scored six league goals and provided 11 assists, including a brace in the 4-1 win over Bayern last week.
