Former England youth international Victor Moses has been called up to Nigeria's senior squad, days after being cleared to play for his country of birth by FIFA.

Wigan midfielder Moses, 20, was included in a 28-man squad announced Thursday for Nigeria's friendly internationals against Botswana and Zambia this month.

Italy based forward Edward Ofere of Lecce was also picked for the first time.

The matches are the first for new Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi, who was appointed on Wednesday to replace Samson Siasia. Siasia was fired after the Super Eagles failed to qualify for next year's African Cup of Nations.
