Wigan have the chance to claw their way out of the relegation zone when they visit West Ham on Saturday.

The Latics could be up against Mark Noble in the West Ham starting line-up after he made his first appearance since February in the 2-2 draw at home to Manchester United on Wednesday.

But Allardyce is still without Joe Cole for the Hammers as the midfielder continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

James Tomkins is also out with the calf problem that saw him substituted in the draw at Southampton earlier this month.

Latics boss Roberto Martinez has no new injury worries for his side's third match in a week but may choose to freshen things up again at Upton Park.

The Spaniard made just two changes for Wednesday's defeat at Manchester City, bringing back goalkeeper Joel Robles and striker Franco di Santo.

Forward Callum McManaman could be set for a recall but Roman Golobart remains out of the picture after twisting an ankle in training.
