West Ham stuns Liverpool 3-0 in Premier League
LIVERPOOL, England (AP) Mark Noble scored and was later sent off as West Ham stunned Liverpool 3-0 Saturday for its first victory at Anfield since 1963 in a Premier League game that both teams finished with 10 men.
Liverpool had not conceded a goal in its opening three games but went behind after just three minutes when Manuel Lanzini celebrated his first league start for West Ham with an early goal.
Lanzini set up the second as he outmuscled Dejan Lovren to steal the ball and crossed for Noble to drive home in the 29th as West Ham ended one of the longest winless runs in English top-flight history.
''It is one of those games that will be written ... in the heart of the fans,'' West Ham manager Slaven Bilic said.
Things got worse for Liverpool when Philippe Coutinho picked up his second yellow card in the 53rd minute as Brendan Rodgers' team fell to its first loss of the campaign.
Noble was then sent off for a lunging challenge in the 79th but Diafra Sakho polished off the win in injury time.
It was West Ham's second win of the season, having beaten Arsenal away on the opening weekend.
