West Brom will be without Chris Brunt after the winger, who leads the Premier League table for assists, picked up his fifth booking of the season in the 2-0 defeat at Bolton. Jerome Thomas would be an obvious replacement for Brunt but the winger missed the Reebok Stadium clash through illness and is a doubt for Tuesday's match as well. Blackburn's wantaway defender Christopher Samba should be fit to return to the visitors after missing the defeat to Stoke with an ankle knock. Samba, who has been stripped of the captaincy by new boss Steve Kean, was missed on Boxing Day and is likely to return in place of youngster Grant Hanley. El-Hadji Diouf is pushing for a recall after being dropped to the bench against Stoke, but Phil Jones (knee), Jason Roberts (hamstring) and Vince Grella (Achilles) remain sidelined. West Brom (from): Carson, Myhill, Jara, Tamas, Scharner, Pablo, Cech, Shorey, Reid, Mulumbu, Dorrans, Thomas, Morrison, Tchoyi, Barnes, Fortune, Cox, Miller, Odemwingie. Blackburn (from): Robinson, Salgado, Nelsen, Samba, Givet, Olsson, Emerton, Pedersen, E-H Diouf, Dunn, Bunn, Kalinic, Benjani, Hoilett, MB Diouf, Doran, Morris, Hanley.
