Wenger to snub January sales
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists he does not intend to add to his squad in the January transfer window.
There has been speculation over potential targets as the Gunners aim to remain in the Premier League title hunt.
Wenger was strongly linked with a move for Bolton centre-half Gary Cahill over the weekend but the Frenchman is happy with the squad he has already assembled.
As well as signing defensive duo Laurent Koscielny and Sebastien Squillaci in the summer, striker Marouane Chamakh arrived on a free transfer from Bordeuax and has already scored 10 goals for the Gunners.
Wenger therefore claims he will only act in January if his squad is hit by injury.
"My policy is to stick to the squad I have, we will not be on the market," he told the club's official website.
"I want to keep my squad and I want to continue with these players. We will not be on the market unless we lose some."
