Wenger: Arsenal focus on top four
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes it is unrealistic to think about challenging for the title and says their focus is on a top-four finish.
Sunday's defeat to bitter rivals Tottenham was Arsenal's fourth in the Premier League this season to leave them languishing in 15th spot in the table.
Arsenal find themselves 12 points behind front two Manchester United and Manchester City and Wenger concedes the title is already out of reach for his side.
"At the moment we have to set ourselves a realistic target to get in touch with those teams who are fighting to stay in the Champions League. To say we will win the league is not realistic," he said.
"We are 12 points behind Manchester United and Manchester City so it is not realistic today to say that we will win the league. We have to fight to come back into a much better position.
"We lack a little bit of confidence at the moment and just want to protect our result too much when we have one."
