Jamie Murphy netted a first-half double for Stuart McCall's men and summer signing Nicky Law slotted home after a brilliant run and one-two with the striker. McCall brought on several youngsters in the second period but Well remained in control and Bob McHugh finished well following Jamie Pollock's through ball before Steven Saunders headed home in injury-time.
