Van den Brom, a former Vitesse player, steered ADO Den Haag into the Europa League last season. He replaces former Barcelona and Chelsea full-back Albert Ferrer as coach of the Arnhem club. A statement on the club's official website: "ADO Den Haag and Vitesse reached an agreement for the transfer of John van den Brom. The former Vitesse player is the new head coach for next season."
