Villa rocked after Carew is crocked

Aston Villa have suffered a further injury blow with the news that John Carew has been ruled out for three to four weeks with a calf injury.

The Norway international joins Emile Heskey on the sidelines ahead of Saturday's Premier League trip to Fulham, after Villa announced earlier this week that Heskey would be out for up to a month with a medial ligament injury.

The club are desperately short of forward options, with Gabriel Agbonlahor having only just returned to light training after a groin operation, so young hitman Nathan Delfouneso is set to get the nod at Craven Cottage this weekend.
