Villa moved for the American midfielder last week, when he became available after Gladbach signed Michael Fink. Villa boss Gerard Houllier would not be drawn on the move on Saturday following their FA Cup win over Blackburn. But now the Second City outfit have confirmed they are on the brink of sealing his signature. A statement from the club read: "Villa can confirm that talks with Michael Bradley are at an advanced stage for a loan move until the end of the season. "The midfielder is due for a medical and discussions on personal terms in the next 24 hours."
