Veh to stay at Eintracht Frankfurt another season

Eintracht Frankfurt says coach Armin Veh has agreed to extend his contract at the club by a year until the end of next season.

The club's announcement on Monday followed weeks of speculation over the 52-year-old Veh's future. Persistent media speculation, which Veh dismissed, linked him with a move to Schalke.

Veh led Eintracht back to the top division last season after a one-year absence.

With eight matches to go, it is fourth in the Bundesliga and vying for a place in next season's Champions League.
