Nikola Zigic scored a second-half equalizer Thursday to give Valencia a 1-1 draw with FC Brugge to advance into the UEFA Cup's knockout stage.
Zigic equalized in the 60th minute after Antolin Alcaraz had scored in the 19th for Brugge, which must wait until its final Group G game against FC Copenhagen to try to join Valencia in the next round.
