Uzbekistan routs Kyrgystan 4-0 in WCup qualifier

Asian Cup semifinalist Uzbekistan routed its Central Asian neighbor Kyrgyzstan 4-0 in the first leg of their World Cup qualifier.
Alexander Geynrikh gave Uzbekistan the lead in the 28th minute before Marat Bikmaev followed up the striker's opener four minutes into the second-half to make it 2-0. Uzbekistan put the match out of reach when former AFC Player of the Year Server Djaparov netted the third in the 59th minute.
Ulugbek Bakaev capped the win when the second-half substitute made it 4-0 in stoppage time.
The return leg will be in Kyrgyzstan on Thursday.
