USA striker Boyd wanted in England
Bournemouth, which plays in the second-tier of English football, is understood to be lining up a move for United States international Terrence Boyd, according to reports.
Boyd is currently playing for Austrian club Rapid Vienna, where he has impressed since arriving from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
The 22-year-old striker scored 13 goals last term and he has scored two goals already this season, including in the Europa League qualifying win over Asteras Tripolis.
A number of English clubs are thought to be keeping tabs on the pacy forward, but Bournemouth are hoping to steal a match on them by luring him to Dean Court.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is in the market for a new striker before the transfer window closes and Boyd is thought to figure highly on his wanted list.
Boyd would have no issues winning a work permit as he has dual nationality after being born in Germany before moving to the United States.
USA head coach Jurgen Klinsmann selected Boyd in a 23-man squad to face Bosnia & Herzegovina in Sarajevo on Wednesday.
