The Mexican forward will complete his move to Old Trafford on July 1, subject to a work permit. Hernandez, 21, is also known as 'Chicharito' and has scored four goals in four appearances for the Mexico national team. He passed a medical in Manchester this week and has an impressive strike-rate at club level, scoring almost once every two games. If he makes his country's World Cup squad it could provide an early glimpse of his talent in England given Mexico are due to visit Wembley for a friendly on May 24. As part of the deal, United will play a match to open the new Chivas Stadium in Guadalajara in the summer. Sir Alex Ferguson told the club's official website: "I am delighted to reach agreement with Chivas to bring such an exciting young striker, who has been in such prolific form for both his club and his country. He will be a great addition to our squad and we look forward to welcoming our first Mexican player in the summer."
