Tunisia striker Issam Jemaa will miss the rest of the African Cup of Nations with a knee injury.

The Tunisian Football Federation says Jemaa will be sidelined for around six weeks after sustaining a sprained knee in the 1-0 win over Algeria on Tuesday. Jemaa was substituted after just 15 minutes at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

Tunisia won the north African derby 1-0 through a late Youssef Msakni goal in Rustenburg, but will be hampered by the loss of one of its most experienced players with group games against Togo and tournament favorite Ivory Coast still to come.

Tunisia faces Ivory Coast next on Saturday after both teams won their opening games in Group D.
