Tranmere v Yeovil preview
Team news ahead of Saturday afternoon's League One clash between Tranmere Rovers and Yeovil Town at Prenton Park.
Tranmere will be with out Andy Robinson and Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro.
Playmaker Robinson missed last week's 1-0 win at Notts County with a hamstring injury sustained in the previous match at Scunthorpe and has failed to recover in time.
Earlier this week Rovers learned they will be without top scorer Akpa Akpro for three months with a broken metatarsal and the absence of the attacking duo creates an opportunity for Adam McGurk against the Glovers.
"McGurk will get the opportunity to come in and play up front and see whether he can get himself a couple of goals," manager Ronnie Moore told Tranmere's official website.
"He gives us the option up there and on Saturday he played well."
First-choice goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams is absent due to international duty with Wales, leaving Jason Mooney in line to make his Rovers debut.
Yeovil boss Gary Johnson has hinted he may dive back into the loan market ahead of their trip.
Johnson has already brought in Korey Smith, Joe Edwards, Dan Burn and Paddy Madden in recent weeks, but is still looking for fresh faces to ease the Glovers' injury crisis.
Lewis Young remains sidelined with ankle ligament damage while loan striker Gozie Ugwu is also struggling with a hamstring problem.
Midfielder Gavin Williams is unable to play and train in the same week due to a calf problem and remains a doubt.
"I've got to keep looking to add because where we cannot do massive business we can do clever business," Johnson told the Western Morning News. "But we'll keep going, keep fighting for the cause and bring in as many players as possible that we think are going to improve the squad."
Town do welcome back defender Byron Webster from a one-match suspension and he's likely to go straight into the starting line-up.
