Tozser focused on Genoa
Genoa midfielder Daniel Tozser is focusing on his current club after being linked with Watford and a return to Belgian football.
Tozser joined Genoa on a four-year contract last summer from Genk and experienced a mixed debut season in Serie A after making 22 appearances.
Reports in Italy have claimed that Watford boss Gianfranco Zola is considering a move to sign the Hungarian, who will not rule out moving back to Belgium.
"I'm a Genoa player, so this is the only sure thing," the 28-year-old told Nemzeti Sport.
"I wasn't satisfied with my latest season, but it's not because of the time I spent on the pitch.
"It's true that in Genk I was playing regularly except for the last half a season and I was the captain of the team. I've closed that part of my life with Genk, but I'd never say never.
"About the difficulties at Genoa I would say it can be a negative thing when players keep coming and going from the club."
Tozser's agent Vladan Filipovic added: "It's natural if there is a ballyhoo because we're in the middle of the transfer period. It's a fact that he has three years left on his contract.
"Genoa go to a training camp and Dani will start the summer preparations with Genoa for the following season."
