Tottenham will host fierce rival Arsenal in the pick of the third-round matches in England's League Cup.
The north London derby was one of seven all-Premier League matches drawn Saturday, including Aston Villa at home to Blackburn in a repeat of last season's semifinal, English champion Chelsea hosting Newcastle and Manchester City at West Bromwich Albion.
Defending champion Manchester United begins its title defense at League Championship side Scunthorpe, and Liverpool, which has won a record seven League Cup titles, starts its campaign at home to fourth-tier side Northampton.
The matches will be played the week beginning Sept. 20.
