Toronto FC's Benoit Cheyrou suspended 1 game by MLS

NEW YORK (AP) Toronto FC midfielder Benoit Cheyrou was suspended for one game by MLS and fined him an undisclosed amount Friday for a serious foul that endangered the safety of an opponent Wednesday night in a 4-1 victory over Orlando City.

Cheyrou will sit out Toronto's home game Saturday against Sporting Kansas City.
