Top five dominate PFA Team
Bale capped a memorable season when he was voted PFA Player of the Year while Wilshere was awarded the youngsters' equivalent. The pair are among seven players from the competition's leading two clubs to have been voted into the composite side by their fellow professionals. Leaders and Champions League semi-finalists United are the most represented with four players in veteran goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, defender Nemanja Vidic, playmaker Nani and Premier League top scorer Dimitar Berbatov. Defender Bacary Sagna, Player of the Year candidate Samir Nasri and Young Player of the Year Wilshere make up the Gunners contingent. In a side made up entirely of players from the top five clubs, Manchester City have two representatives in Carlos Tevez and Vincent Kompany, while Chelsea and Tottenham have one each in Ashley Cole and Bale respectively.
