Mexican club Toluca earned a spot in the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions League with a 5-0 victory Wednesday in Group D against Salvador club FAS.
Hector Mancilla of Chile scored three times for Toluca in the 19th, 56th and second-half injury time. Juan Cuevas notched another in the 55th and Nestor Calderon scored his in the 87th.
Toluca, which reached the semifinals of the tournament a year ago, finished group play with 10 points. FAS finished with two points in six matches.
