Toluca defeated Leon 2-1 on Sunday to retain the Mexican first division's only perfect record after the third round of the Apertura championship.
Toluca move to nine points, with Tigres and Santos Laguna tied in second place on seven points after only managing draws in their games. Tigres drew 0-0 with Atlas on Saturday, while Santos Laguna was held to a 2-2 by Puebla on Friday.
In other weekend results: Atlante and America drew 2-2, Cruz Azul drew 0-0 with Chivas, Pachuca won 1-0 against Queretaro, Monterrey overcame Jaguares 2-1, Morelia and San Luis drew 3-3 and Tijuana defeated Pumas 1-0.
Brazilian Lucas Silva headed in Toluca's first goal in the 15th minute, with Sinha increasing the lead in the 38th. Eisner Loboa pulled a goal back in first half injury time for recently-promoted Leon, which won its first two games of the season.
Tigres had the best of the chances and had more possession against Atlas, but failed to convert the opportunities.
Argentine Matias Alustiza scored two second half goals to earn a point for struggling Puebla. Reigning champion Santos Laguna was two goals up within 15 minutes, with Darwin Quintero and United States international Herculez Gomez scoring the early goals.
America mounted a second half comeback to earn a point against Atlante with Rubens Sambueza scoring from 25 yards (meters) three minutes after halftime and Christian Benitez leveling the scores in the 66th.
Atlante had taken a two goal lead when Estenban Paredes opened the scoring in the 15th minute and Paraguayan Osvaldo Martinez converted a penalty in the 40th.
Chivas got their first point of the season against Cruz Azul, but are now eleven games without a victory in official matches in a run stretching back to last season.
Paraguayan Paulo da Silva headed in from a corner in the 63rd minute as Pachuca got its first league win under new coach Hugo Sanchez. Queretaro remains on zero points.
First half goals from Hector Morales (4th) and Neri Cardozo (32nd) gave Monterrey the victory. Luis Esqueda had equalized for Jaguares in the 22nd, but the team has yet to win a point this season.
Morelia pulled back two goals in the last six minutes of its game against San Luis.
Antonio Pedroza volleyed home in the 84th and Joel Huiqui got the equalizer with his chest in the 88th.
Huiqui scored his first in the 8th, before Sebastian Fernandez got one goal either side of halftime to give San Luis the lead. Santiago Trellez added the third for San Luis in the 65th to seemingly take the game beyond Morelia.
Tijuana*s Pablo Aguilar scored just before halftime to hand his team victory against Pumas on Friday.
